Overnight northbound lane closure on I-29

The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) would like to update the traveling public on the 7th Avenue North overpass project. From midnight tonight until 5AM on Wednesday, July 11, the center lane of northbound I-29 will be closed from Main Avenue to 12th Avenue North, leaving one lane of traffic in the northbound direction open to motorist overnight. The center lane of northbound I-29 will reopen when work is complete. Currently, the far right lane of the interstate is closed on I-29 from Main Ave. to 12th Ave. N in both directions and will also remain closed in both directions after this work is complete.

Crews will begin placing the bridge deck (driving surface) on the 7th Ave. N. overpass during this temporary lane closure.

Motorists are encouraged to use caution when traveling in the work zone around the bridge. Please watch for construction vehicles and equipment entering and exiting the lane closures and obey posted speed limits.
