SCOPE
The Main Avenue roadway will be reconstructed between 6th Street West (near the Sheyenne River crossing) and 5th Street East (near DMI). The work includes eliminating the frontage roads and providing parking areas in their place.

PURPOSE
The roadway project will improve pavement conditions on Main Avenue, as well as provide easier access to area businesses with parking.

FUNDING
The estimated cost for the roadway project is $12 million. Approximate split is 72% federal, 7% state, and 21% local. The project will be bid out in April.
