CURRENT STATUS
Lanes are head-to-head on the southbound roadway.

SCOPE
A five-mile stretch of I-29 will be reconstructed north of Cass County 20 (to north of Harwood). Northbound lanes will be reconstructed in 2009 and southbound lanes in 2010.

PURPOSE
This roadway project will improve pavement conditions on the interstate. The roadbed will be raised about 1 foot, which will help to lessen the number of closures due to water on the roadway.

FUNDING
Funding will be 90% federal and 10% state.
