SCOPE
Remove and replace driving surface on bridge, widen bridge to add a pedestrian crossing, and reconstruct roadway on both sides of the bridge including intersections.
PURPOSE
The project improved the condition of the driving surface on the bridge. It also widened the bridge to allow the construction of a multi-use path across the interstate. In addition, erosion was exposing bridge piling and this project fixed this erosion. Additional lighting was also added.
