SCOPE
The 45th Street and I-94 Interchange will be reconstructed between 19th Avenue S. and 23rd Avenue S. Lanes will be added to the bridge over I-94, auxiliary lanes will be added on I-94 between I-29 and 45th Street, and a northeast loop ramp will be added.
PURPOSE
The project will improve pavement conditions on the 45th Street bridge, as well as provide for greater capacity with the addition of lanes on I-94 and the bridge.
FUNDING
The project is about $7.7 million with $6 million federal funds, $663,000 state funds and $1 million local funds. The contractor is Industrial Builders from West Fargo.
START
Work will begin in late March 2010.
