SCOPE
The 10th Street Underpass at Main Avenue will be reconstructed from approximately 1st Avenue S. to NP Avenue.

PURPOSE
The project will improve pavement conditions in the 10th Street and Main Avenue Underpass. Sections of the underpass walls will be rehabilitated, although the walls are structurally sound and only aesthetic improvements need to be made.

FUNDING
The project is about $3 million with $2.4 million federal funds, $300,000 state funds and $300,000 local funds. The project will be bid out in April 2010.

START
Work will begin in May 2010.
